Cut Over Plan:
It is date wise detailed documents which consists each and every detail of activities need to be done in legacy and new SAP system. It refers the following terms;
1. Cut off Date or Go live Date: The date by which legacy system is not used and works is started in new SAP system.
2 2. Blackout Period: The period when work has stopped in legacy system up to the cut off date.
3 3. Cut over Activities: The activities must be completed before the go live date. Here is a list of PP related cut over activities;
a. Upload all master data ( Material Master, work center, BOM, Routing, PRTs )
b. Open Production Orders: Create material master, BOM, routing for rest of the production order and do the GR for this production order before go live
c. Maintain stock
d. Master Data upload related to Batch management and variant configuration
(NOTE: During cutoff period check the following points)
- Check for the integration with other modules
- Cross check whether all the request are in place in production from DEV-QA-PRD server
- Check for number ranges and MRP plant parameters
